Name Creature
For this activity, Taite folded a piece of paper in half length-wise. She wrote her name in cursive, making sure the letters touched the fold. She is all about writing her name in cursive these days. I helped her because she asked me to help make the letters "correctly".
Next, she made a mirror image of her name on the other side of the paper. She flipped over the paper over, traced her name from the back, then flipped back to the front & traced the mirror image through the paper. I wish I would've had her do her name in marker, but I forgot that little detail. But, it's still fun anyway.

She told me that they made bugs out of their printed names at the beginning of first grade. That sounds fun, too!
